Speeding ticket...
I got my very first speeding ticket today on the way to church. I am so very sad about it! And I am such a careful driver, I cannot believe it happened!
I know how you feel, I still shudder when I think of my first one. We were on a back road trying to avoid an accident on the interstate driving through Tenn. We were going through kind of a hilly area where the speed limit was 45 and I decided to set the cruise. I set it on 45 exactly but apparently not all cars cruise control slows you down too so going down the hill I got clock going 54. I was so upset and intimidated that I could even talk even though mom was trying to explain why it happened. I had to let her take over so I could calm back done, I was shaking. Then to make it worse I still had to pay half of it. I guess I should be thankful that they split it with me at all but I still felt like I shouldn't have had to pay when I was doing mom a favor for driving for a while lol.
Anyway a week or so ago I was driving when I saw a cop car right behind me. This was a slow road and I was going on the nose 35. For a long time she just followed me but then right when I was about to get to turn off she flipped on the lights. I was freaking out and could not figure out why she was pulling me over. I pulled into a neighborhood and she came up to the window. I gave her my license and she asked "did you know your drivers side tail light is out." I wanted to hurt her so bad. It could have been way worse since my license was not updated with our new address yet and the pack with the registration and proof of insurance was in the house because dad was using it for taxes. I was lucky because she still just gave me a warning, I guess my ultra safe driving paid off this time.
Anyway, I am really sorry, I know it is tough. Love ya, Shae
My name is Jessica and I am 24 years old. My husband, David, and I recently moved to San Antonio, TX, where he is the Creative Arts pastor at Valley Hi Assembly of God. We are excited to see what God has in store for us in this new adventure. We have a small puppy named Laila, who keeps us busy! Other than that, we are blessed with an amazing family, great friends, and a very blessed life!
